Nuage Bleu was founded in 1987 by Teri Larronde, whose love for Maui inspired her to create a boutique in the heart of Pāʻia that reflected the beauty, creativity, and laid-back spirit of island life. For nearly four decades, Nuage Bleu has become a destination for thoughtfully curated women’s and kids’ clothing, accessories, and gifts, with a focus on quality, individuality, and the spirit of aloha.

Today, Nuage Bleu remains a family-run business, with new ownership passing to Teri's stepdaughter, Stephanie. With a background in design, Stephanie carries on the legacy Teri built while bringing her own creative perspective to the store. Nuage Bleu continues to curate a thoughtful mix of established and independent brands, local artists and makers, alongside its own in-house designs.
